Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead our human resources department and drive strategic HR initiatives as we continue to grow our aviation education company. This role is crucial in building and maintaining a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational development. You will work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and retention
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies and manage recruitment processes
  • Design and execute employee development and training programs
  • Manage performance evaluation processes and career development initiatives
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Develop compensation and benefits strategies
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Provide HR metrics and analytics to support business decisions

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a senior role
  • Strong knowledge of Czech employment law and EU regulations
  • Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment strategies
  • Proven track record in employee development and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Czech
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership and team management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the education or aviation industry
  • Knowledge of international HR practices
  • Experience with performance management systems
  • Background in organizational psychology or change management
  • Experience with employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarking and job evaluation
