Objective

Listen carefully to a sequence of spoken numbers, then identify the requested number from the options presented on screen.

How It Works

This game challenges your auditory memory by requiring you to hold a series of spoken numbers in mind, then recognize one of those numbers among several options. Unlike visual memory tasks, this game focuses specifically on your ability to process and retain information presented through audio, making it particularly valuable for developing listening skills and auditory working memory.

Step-by-step Instructions

  • Listen attentively as a series of numbers is spoken through audio
  • Each number will be followed by a beep and a short pause
  • After all numbers have been presented, buttons with different numbers will appear
  • Identify and click on the button showing one of the numbers you just heard
  • Respond within the time limit to score points
  • Incorrect selections or running out of time will result in a failed round

Skills You Develop

  • Auditory working memory
  • Attention to auditory details
  • Numerical recognition
  • Sequential information processing
  • Response accuracy under pressure
  • Auditory information retention

Coaching Tips

  • Try to silently repeat each number to yourself as you hear it
  • Create mental associations or patterns with the numbers to improve recall
  • Focus on the sound rather than trying to visualize the numbers
  • Use rhythmic or musical thinking to remember the sequence
  • Pay extra attention to unusual or distinctive numbers in the sequence
  • If possible, group numbers into meaningful chunks (like dates or familiar sequences)
