Preview: Watch Visual Relationship in Action
Objective
Determine whether an aircraft is on the left or right side from a specified perspective, then answer YES or NO to confirm or deny the given statement.
How It Works
This game challenges your ability to mentally adopt different viewpoints by requiring you to determine relative positions from various perspectives. You need to imagine yourself in the position of the reference object, facing in its direction, and then determine whether the target aircraft is to your left or right from that perspective.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Read the question at the beginning of each round carefully
- The question will ask if a specific aircraft (red or green) is on the left or right side from a particular perspective
- The perspective may be from another aircraft or from an eye bulb (observer)
- Observe the positions and directions of aircraft on the airport background
- Answer YES if the statement is correct, or NO if the statement is incorrect
- Respond within the time limit to score points
Skills You Develop
- Perspective taking - ability to visualize scenes from different viewpoints
- Spatial reasoning
- Left-right orientation from varied perspectives
- Mental rotation
- Quick visual analysis
- Decision making under time pressure
Coaching Tips
- Focus first on identifying which object provides the perspective (red aircraft, green aircraft, or eye bulb)
- Mentally place yourself at that position, facing in the same direction as the object
- From this mental position, determine if the target aircraft is to your left or right
- Pay careful attention to the orientation (heading) of the reference object
- Try to use your hands to help visualize the perspective if needed
- Remember that the question is about the perspective of the reference object, not your own view of the screen
