Full Stack Web Developer

Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our development team and build innovative web-based aviation training platforms. This role involves developing modern, responsive web applications using React, Node.js, and cloud technologies to deliver exceptional learning experiences for future air traffic controllers.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both frontend and backend development, with expertise in building scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and database systems. You'll work on exciting projects that combine education technology with aviation industry requirements.

• Develop responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Build robust backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express
• Design and implement PostgreSQL database schemas and optimize queries
• Deploy and maintain web applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
• Integrate third-party APIs and services for enhanced functionality
• Implement user authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions

Essential Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of full-stack web development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Extensive experience with React and modern frontend frameworks
• Solid backend development skills with Node.js and Express
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and SQL optimization
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English, Czech language is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS cloud platform experience (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront)
• Familiarity with modern build tools(Vite)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with educational technology or e-learning platforms
• Understanding of aviation industry or training systems
• Familiarity with WebSocket for real-time features
• Experience with performance optimization and web analytics
