Pick one for a short introduction. Highlighted countries are where they are based.
What Aon is
Aon bought the test company cut-e, and a lot of airlines still use that name. For pilot applicants the test is a set of short timed tasks. They look at attention, memory, reasoning, and spatial ability.
The tasks on this page are practice for that. They are timed, and you see your score afterwards.
Skill areas
10 timed tasks.

01
Monitoring Ability (scales cmo)
Count the moving balls inside the circle and press the matching number. A correct answer makes the next task harder. You have 2 minutes.

02
Symbol Match (scales rt)
Two symbols appear side by side. Press as soon as they are identical, and do nothing when they differ. You have 3 minutes.

03
Motion Challenge (motionChallenge)
Slide the ball into the hole in as few steps as you can. Each puzzle is one round.

04
Spatial Recall (gridChallenge)
A marker flashes on a scattered field. Answer the spatial question, then tap the markers in the same order. Each recall is one round.

05
Ability to Concentrate (scales e3+)
A figure appears on a ring of marks. Press D for an E with exactly three marks, and A for anything else. The clock runs until the set is finished.

06
Inductive Reasoning (scales clx)
Two grids follow a rule. Choose the two other grids that follow the same rule. Each question is one round.

07
Grid Deduction (gapChallenge)
Each symbol appears once in every row and column. Choose the symbol for the marked cell. Each grid is one round.

08
Spatial Orientation (scales ndb)
Read the gyro for the flying direction and the RBI for the zone around the ground station. Place the matching letter in that zone. Each question is one round.

09
Listening Comprehension
A recording plays once. Then answer the set of questions from what you heard.

10
Situational Judgement (chatAssess)
Read a workplace situation and choose the most effective response and the least effective response.
FAQ
Is this the official Aon test?
No. This is independent practice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Aon, cut-e, or any airline. The tasks are original and are not copies of live selection items.
Do all airlines use the same Aon modules?
No. Aon screening is a set of short scales. Airlines choose which scales to include, so two airlines that both use Aon can sit different tests. Practise the skill areas, then confirm the current assessment with the airline.
Which airlines use Aon?
Reported airlines are listed on the pilot preparation page. A hiring campaign can change the battery, so confirm it with the airline.
Is there one default pilot test?
No. Airlines choose a battery. Aon is one of them. Others include COMPASS, Symbiotics ADAPT, PILAPT, DLR, and FAST. This page shows the Aon tasks. The subscription is not limited to those tasks.
What does the subscription include?
Pilot Preparation covers every pilot preparation, not only Aon. The tasks on this page are the Aon battery inside that subscription. A battery added later stays in the same subscription.
Aon Pilot Assessment Preparation is independent practice for people preparing for airline pilot screening. This page is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Aon, cut-e, or any airline. Aon and cut-e are trademarks of their owners. Practice tasks are original and are not copies of live selection items. Confirm the current assessment with the airline.
