British Airways to Introduce Free Starlink Wi-Fi Across Fleet

British Airways has announced plans to roll out complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink starting in 2026. The service will allow passengers in every cabin to stay connected from gate to gate, including over oceans and remote areas. Starlink's low-Earth orbit satellites offer faster and more reliable connectivity than traditional systems. This launch is part of the airline’s broader £7 billion transformation program, which has already improved customer experience, punctuality, lounges, and onboard service. CEO Sean Doyle emphasized that the partnership with Starlink will enhance passenger connectivity and help the airline stand out, particularly on short-haul routes. Alongside Wi-Fi, BA continues to upgrade its aircraft, lounges, and digital services, ensuring passengers can remain productive and entertained throughout their journey.
