FEAST 1: Scan And Compare Figures Overview

Objective

Decide whether the left box matches at least one figure on the right, then press Equal or Unequal.

How It Works

This module trains visual scanning and perceptual speed. You first study illustrated Equal and Unequal examples on a white board, then start a stream of timed questions. You must inspect diamond figures with internal line patterns, ignore near-matches, and decide Equal or Unequal under a short deadline.

Step-by-step Instructions

• The module opens with illustrated Equal and Unequal examples. Start when you are ready.
• Look at the left box and compare it with every figure on the right.
• Press Equal if at least one figure on the right is the same pattern.
• Press Unequal if none of them match.
• Questions continue automatically inside the round.

Coaching Tips

• Look at the left box first, then scan the figures on the right for an exact match.
• Compare distinctive inner lines before you compare the whole diamond.
• An empty upper box does not count as a match.
• If two upper figures are present, Equal is still correct when only one of them matches.
• Speed helps, but one missed line is enough to turn Equal into Unequal.
